Another one of my favourites from a client photo shoot this week. www.mustangnic.com
"All horses deserve, at least once in their lives, to be loved by a little girl."
Had a great time photographing a girl and her horse today, they had such a strong bond. I think it came across well in the photos. www.mustangnic.com
"There are no words that can tell the hidden spirit of the wilderness that can reveal its mystery, its melancholy and its charm."
A pregnant wild Mustang mare in the Spring. Cautious, she watched me as I stood a distance away taking pictures. After a few minutes she withdrew, disappearing into the Mountains.
Taken by me in June 2013 during the ‘Super Moon’.
Taken July 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wildfires on the outskirts of the city turn the sky an eerie shade of yellow and orange at around 5pm.
The Three Amigos. Three wild Mustang bachelors. The cremello colt at the back had literally, minutes before, just joined this band after leaving another herd he was travelling with.
Picture of a male Lynx I took in Arizona, USA
One more photo from today. This piece is called ‘Snow Back Mountain’. In December 2012 I went up into the mountains to find some wild Mustangs. Given the amount of snow, it’s not always easy to get a nice shot with the glare but I came away thinking this shot was a good one. This is the back of a black stallion, with snow resting on him. It was so cold that the snow wasn’t melting, making his back look like a snow covered mountain.
